Scorpio moon: what house?

topic posted Fri, February 1, 2008 - 7:23 PM by  offlineSimone'
Every one here has intensities in their emotions but I want to know how those emotions manifest them selves. What house is your scorpio moon in and how does that effect you personally? Also if there is any aspects how do you think they change the quality of a scorpio moon? I have the moon in my 1st house trining Venus and Mars. When I'm mad people know. I have a strong sex drive and I am very passionate and loving...

2nd house Moon in Scorpio here, which definitely adds a Taurean flavor. I like to cook and form collections of various (always vintage) things, but I'm sure the trine to my Cancer Sun has a lot to do with such likes. My Moon also opposes Saturn in Taurus so although I grew up relatively affluent, my parents were incapable of expressing unconditional love. It was all about material goods and preserving the status quo. Oh...and I think a 2nd house Moon in Scorpio increases sensuality without taking away from raw sexuality....

I think you are very lucky to have the moon in the 2nd house. Because, as you know, the moon is in its fall in scorpio. But with the moon in the second house you may experienceTaurean emotions from time to time. But with saturn in opposition to your moon--do you get depressed a lot because that is what I have heard with saturn making any majoir contact to the moon.

Scorpio Moon in the 7th house ~ for the most part, relationships are my highest priority ~
    "good", "bad" & everything-in-between relationships

conjunct Scorpio Jupiter ~ my definition of "relationship" is quite expansive & often jolly-well surprising, too!
    <Good times!>

opposite Taurus Saturn ~ I am challenged, quite a bit with stubbornly held limitations & all manner of obstacles are thrown my way ~
what hasn't killed me, has made me stranger & tempered my core with blunt experience

    love all-ways,
    mem

Moon in the 12th house, just risen, about three degrees from the ascendant - a Creedence Clearwater Moon. Very few can read my emotional state with any accuracy. My Scorpio side is practically invisible.

While this can be a great advantage in conflict, it’s extremely frustrating on a personal basis. People assume, and the assumptions are usually wrong. “But, I thought you wanted . . .” Well, you should have asked. “When I ask, your answers aren’t specific, and sometimes evasive.” Now, if you really knew me, you should be able to tell. “Nobody is able to tell; you’re always under the radar.”

Why the #@$% do I have to explain all the time! Because it's hidden away, and they can't see. . . .

I have my Scorpio Moon in the 6th House. I've read some writing talking about how the one with the Moon in Scorpio can have a deep dislike for oneself and a desire to completely destroy/rebuild, which I can definitely identify with. I think having my Moon in the 6th House may add to this, as I am extremely self-critical, and feel the need to tangibly or - more often, probably - emotionally serve/help others in order to feel alright about myself. I don't know that I usually succeed in doing so, but I desperately want to feel useful, or I just get in BS ruts of self-loathing and self-destructive thought patterns. A part of me really does want to be an emotional 'servant' and I easily get sucked into this role with various people - sometimes with good outcomes and sometimes not.

All this is probably also added to by the fact that Pluto is also in my 6th House, conunct South Node (though the latter is in Libra). All these things I've 'inhereted' (Moon/Pluto/S.N.) being in the 6th/connected to Plutonian things seems like it must have some sort of strong impact, though I'm still not entirely clear what it is, beyond what I've discussed already. (To add to that even more, my Pluto/S.N. conjunction are opposite my Taurus Sun/Aries N.N. conjunction).

Also, my Moon is opposite my 12th House Taurus Venus, and that might inhibit expression of affection, somewhat. I desperately crave the expression/reception of affection to/from those I care about, and like very tangible displays of it, but I worry a lot about how people will react and how I'll come across, so I can be sort of weak on that front, in reality, more often than not.

And, FINALLY, my Moon is also trine my 11th House Pisces Jupiter. This aspect seems to get fantabulous descriptions, usually, though I have a bit of a hard time understanding how it functions. I suppose it might make my emotions more warm and expansive, or something.

I think its inhteresting what you said about moon scorpios having a desire to completly reconstruct them selves. I have been feeling that all my life I just never imagined it was connected with my moon in scorpio.

I'm sure the Scorp Moon connection to that has to do with the Plutonian need for death/rebirth. It's interesting to hear from someone else directly that this is, indeed, a shared trait! I'd only been reading about that recently, and hadn't necessarily imagined that element of a Scorpio Moon, prior to that.

Moon in 4th house with a sextile to Cappy Mercury..also Square my ascendant. Yeah sometimes I feel like the moon part of me is really out there and so conflicts with the fire and aquarian energy.

Mine is in the 4th house (also at 2 degrees), just 11 degrees away from Pluto, which is on the other side of the IC.
... I guess I have pretty major challenges in the emotional communication department. Or at least, communicating with people who are unwilling to TRY and understand me (yet are trying to be close to me)! I keep pissing people off lately. I have aquarius sun and leo rising, so I am generally seen as sunny, easy to be around, creative, smart and fun, etc... but they often have no idea what I actually feel. Sun in 7th house has meant I have unconsciously prioritized others and relationships in life so far (over that quiet, dark time bomb deep inside me), and yet it's very hard for me to fully trust anyone (self included). I guess it's time to start having some daily ritual of meditation in the dark, or just something where I'm totally alone.

Not sure if I have any insights about what the 4th house does to it, but at least that is where the moon naturally feels at home. Also, my mother has a scorpio moon, too. And I love being in my home by myself, usually. Trying to cohabitate is always a big learning experience, sometimes with near-tragic ends, but... it's a necessity, so I keep trying! I mean, I'm a really good housemate, but I have nagging grievances and criticisms about people (or paranoia!) which I rarely bring up with the people involved, and then when I finally do, it tends to be a scary thing for them and me.

Thanks for the good question, Simone'.

P.S. Hi, everyone; I just joined after Googling "Scorpio moon support group" ;-)

      Welcome!
Your Moon conjunct mine, and have a daughter named Amanda . . .

In my op[inion, for what it's worth, 11degrees away for Pluto may as well be 110degrees. Never bought the effectiveness of wide aspects for the outer Planets. Feel it's more of a generational thing.

i'm a 4th house scorpio moon. i feel it intensifies my moon as the most relevant thing in my chart and it makes me extra moody! i also think its why i want to have a stable long lasting relationship so much and have a close connection with my mom.

Mine is in the 10th house - my emotions are wrapped up with my job security. If I am out of work for too long - I get depressed and feel disconnected!
I can feel what the public wants - I am extreemly good at "shmoozing" - I seduce large crowds.
Sounds so weird I know...but if I walk into a crowded place..I feel that I "own" them.
I bet I would be such a great stripper. LOL - but I am a rising capricorn (saturn in the 7th so that would never ever happen)
I also have Pluto and Venus in the 8th house. I am sure that influences me in my feeling very attatched to my scorpio moon.
Something of interest related to my moon in the 10th: I ALWAYS read that women (esp mother) has a strong influence over my career...
    She CONTROLS it! lol

I never noticed how much in my youth - looking back now I can see it....she is very ambitious for me.
Even now - I WORK FOR her husband in a field that I have no formal training but will prove to be very lucrative for me in the long run.
I think my 8th house influences def play a role in this (with regards to toher peoples money) too...

First houe moon here. I feel that if I have lost my own sense of identity and I just follow the crowd then I have lost my self. Thats why I always have to go against the grain. I think the reason you own people when you walk into a room is becuase you are a Dragon. Dragons have that quality.

Moon in the 3rd house. And I admit that I love to talk about all things taboo with anyone that can talk with me about these things. Death, sex, drugs and anything macabre is all that I like to learn about. In fact, just the other night, I spent an hour looking at Anna Nicole Smith's death certificate. It fascinated me delving into a death certificate of the celeb and realizing how her body was just riddled with all of these marks, especially in her ass due to constant drug use. I also enjoy writing but most of my writing is all about dredging up the past and hurts, regrets and revenge. In fact, if I am still really pissed off at someone, I will write a story about them using their name as the subject and plot some absolutely terrible thing for them. This is horrible I know but I would rather get my revenge through my writing than actually doing something physical or emotional to them.
