Re: Hi
Mon, March 17, 2008 - 2:01 PMHello Ana. Hmm not sure where start really, but i have noticed that i am sensitive when it comes to other peoples emotions. For example people moods really have an affect on my mood or i can even reverse this and make my mood affect others, but what ever i say for now will be brief as i am still exploring things myself :)
After reading into Astrology much further, it has helped me gain alot answers about myself and the way I am. I always wondered why i blow my top after while of tolerating people and certian sittuations. People tell me i'm agressive and hot headed but i normally keep this under control so only people who get close to me may experience it at some point (poor souls lol), but if I have to let something out i let it out.
Being a Aquarius Sun with a Scorpio moon is a contradiction...I know and have come accros quiet a few Aqua suns and most of the one's I have encountered are unbelievable, great but wow lol i luv em. So when people find out that im Aqua they are quiet surprised. -
-
Re: Hi
Mon, March 17, 2008 - 2:08 PMOh as you may of noticed, both my moon and pluto in Scorpio are on the 9th degree which is a critical degree for Scorpio. So i suppose tht this would intensify the affect more..i guess. -

Re: Hi
Mon, March 17, 2008 - 10:05 AMOnly joking, as Aquarius is almost a complete opposite to Scorpio in most cases. -
-
Re: Hi
Fri, May 9, 2008 - 11:01 PMThat's funny, E.C. I was just starting to believe there were no Aquarius suns on this tribe, except me, when I stumbled on to here. Okay, what's the deal with Aquarius and Scorpio being opposites? In my lazy astrology research, I never came across this notion. But then again, it could be that I'm just slow. -

Re: Hi
Sat, May 10, 2008 - 12:33 AMAqua is emotionaly detached , has intelectual approach, is an air sign and lives in the world of ideas
Scorpio is water sign, and lives in the world of emotions. To put it very shortly.
But this cant be applied on aquas here couse of the scorpio moon, so i guess you have intelectual and emotional side both strongly pronounced.
Actually, scorpio and aqua have some similar features, but are coming from different place. They are both fix signs, which means they are stuborn, arbitrary, dont listen to anybody but them selves
Uranus is one of the aqua rulers and uranus is strong in scorpio too, so they both have the rebel, eccentric side as well -

Re: Hi
Sat, May 10, 2008 - 10:11 AMJin,
Didn't I say I was slow? I saw one of your posts on another tribe, and it just hit me that you're an aqua, too. Duh.
--------------
"Aqua is emotionaly detached , has intelectual approach, is an air sign and lives in the world of ideas. " I never saw myself that way, therefore, couldn't relate to it.
"Scorpio is water sign, and lives in the world of emotions." Definitely. Fun sometimes, like a pig in mud wallowing in all that luxurious filth, and painful at other times like a scorpion stinging itself.
"they are stuborn, arbitrary, dont listen to anybody but them selves " - my mom to my partners used to get so upset with me for being so "stubborn". Not really stubborn, I think, but more unreasonable about others influencing me in a certain direction.
"rebel, eccentric side " - unfortunately at times -
-
Re: Hi
Sat, May 10, 2008 - 10:19 AM"rebel, eccentric side " - unfortunately at times - why, did you get in trouble sometimes because of this ;) -

Re: Hi
Sat, May 10, 2008 - 10:42 AM"why, did you get in trouble sometimes because of this ;)"
oh~~ don't even ask... trouble can be my middle name. :)
especially when your dad's scorpio sun with capricorn moon... vs. you, aquarius sun with scorpio moon
we love each other to death (he trusts me enough to confide his feelings in me sometimes which i know is hard for a capricorn moon), but... all my life, my dad would build walls, structures, and things, and i'd find ways to break it, climb over it, dig a hole in it, what have ya... it doesn't help that we're both fixed signs either. we fight, and neither's willing to give up (good thing my mom's a cancer... she knows how to turn my dad's "World War III" Switch off every time!!)... lol.

Re: Hi
Sat, May 10, 2008 - 11:05 AMAna,
Like Jin, trouble was/is my middle name. I almost gave me mom a nervous breakdown when I was a kid. Come to think of it, I probably did. Oops. No, seriously, the problem with the Uranus influence, I find for me, is that I can be terribly indecisive and off-the-wall at times. There's a kind of erratic, nutty energy that makes my skin itch when it happens. I must scratch it, but I can't get at it, so I end up either saying or doing something I regret. It's not really terrible stuff in the larger scheme of things, but enough to give me a label - foot-in-mouth disease/kooky dope (might be due to my Sag asc, who knows). Being a Scorp moon in 12th house (don't know if this is the cause) I feel really crappy afterwards. Jin, I also have my aqua sun and merc in the third house, but my nep and jup are in the 12th house, so maybe that's what makes me extra puddly. (And no, I don't mean I'm incontinent...yet.)

Re: Hi
Sat, May 10, 2008 - 10:50 AMheh heh... aqua/scorp makes for one hell of a ride, doesn't it?
------
"Aqua is emotionaly detached , has intelectual approach, is an air sign and lives in the world of ideas. "
- Actually, i can relate... but it's easy for me because my mercury's also in aquarius, and it's in the third house... people tell me i have the weirdest thoughts.
"Scorpio is water sign, and lives in the world of emotions."
- mm... i personally don't live in a world of emotions for the most part, but i do feel it occasionally, and when i do, it's so strong sometimes i physically can't handle it... only if i knew how to control that...
"they are stuborn, arbitrary, dont listen to anybody but them selves "
- oh, i am the epitome of stubborness!!! it probably doesn't help that i have 7 planets in fixed signs (5 inner planets + 2 outer) either.
- of course, i usually do know the best, so... it's okay if i don't listen to other people... heh heh heh... just joking... i try really hard to listen to advices, but it's really hard especially if they're only laced with negative comments...
"rebel, eccentric side "
- the norm, not the exception... which... -_-;; eh heh.... led me to have a rather dramatic experience when i'm at home and very comfortable (letting loose of both my scorpio tendencies and aquarius tendencies... makes me a mad house!) -

i'm 22, and i'm still having problems with the whole see-saw movement between the two... -_-;;;
and as for moon in 12th... and the whole sun in 3rd house... 0_0;;;
do you find that it's very hard for you to tell someone a lie, like even a white lie...?
things like 'do i look fat in these clothes?" you want to tell them, "no, you don't," but the thing that comes out is, "yeah, maybe you should choose another color..." ... -_-;;; because i'm known to be blunt as hell among my friends, and the thing is, i don't even know that i do it, and i almost never mean to hurt them either.... ha ha... this mouth of mine has gotten me into so many troubles............... -_-;;; ugh... ^^;;; maybe that's why i try to keep it shut more than open these days... -

YES! And when I do lie (because I think I ought to be kind), I feel really yucky afterwards. I have rationalized it so: People are intelligent. People know, if not on a conscious level then on a sub-conscious level, that I am lying (if they are observant, they will recognize my shifty-eyes and foot-hopping evidence). I get physically sick when I speak untruths. I love people and don't wish to harm them (consciously, anyway). I con't want to go through life being a mute or a chatterbox. SO, I strike a balance. I voice my opinion without voicing my opinion when I am asked, and if I say something that hurts another (when my intention is the opposite), then I apologize and psychically kick myself. Clear? Good. Any more questions? ;-) -
-
Re: Hi
Sat, May 10, 2008 - 9:58 PMah... so it's not just my consciousness overreacting to the highest degree.. there are people out there who also suffer the consequences of lying!!! :)
i always thought my life sucked in that i could never get away doing anything bad, including lying. LOL.
for me.. i'll be introverted.. and extremely extroverted around my friends... i bet if any third-party watched me, they'd see a 180 degree change in my attitude and behaviors... LOL.
nope, no more questions.... well, at least that i can think of at the moment, but one day... i might just pop another question! heh heh heh... ^^

Re: Hi
Sat, May 10, 2008 - 11:41 AM"you seem to be so "in tuned" with your scorpio moon... "
That's interesting. It's only been very recently that I decided to focus my energy in understanding my moon better. This started just shortly before the April full moon in Scorpio. I read somewhere on the net that the moon represents the female aspects and the mother. I've had a difficult relationship with my mother, so for years I ignored my female qualities. This time in my life seems to be calling me to sort out this particular closet of mine, so I've been working on healing my past about my relationship to my mother, my relationship to my son, and, most of all, my relationship to myself as a mother to my own inner child and as a child to my inner loving mother. -

i wonder... i read everywhere that those with scorpio moon has bad relationship with their mother, but for me, i've not had that issue... we're best friends, and practically tell everything to each other (well, my mom confides more in me than i do her, but that's always worked fine for me)..., although, that has not prevented my disregard for societal values of what a "model female" should be... mm... the inner child... i wonder how far i can go ignoring that before it decides to cause harm... (well... i do have need to play video games and things occasionally nowadays (when i was a kid, i could live without it), and i play it... 0_0;;;) maybe that's what it means to deal with the scorpio moon's child?

Re: Hi
Sat, May 10, 2008 - 11:18 AM"My lost friend has aqua sun/scorpio moon." My condolences.
"I just remember when her mom asked her why she had to go against the norm, she said it is the world that goes against her." That's cute.
"She is stubborn, rebellious , detached, but she was so passionate and loving to me." That's how I see myself at times- rebellious, detached, but filled to overflowing with love and concern for others.
Hope you have others in your life who you can turn to in hard times.
Cheers, -

Re: Hi
Sat, May 10, 2008 - 12:18 PMI think I get what you're saying MIKI.
I'm like that with someone I onced love. I decided to fix the psychic leak by writing the person letters (but not sending them) and working to lovingly heal the hurt within my own being, trusting that the change in my energy is being felt by them, too, and hoping that one day, perhaps some respectful, if not loving, connection can be had. If not, then that is so.

Re: Hi
Sat, May 10, 2008 - 3:07 PMNo problem, your welcome! Yes, you are in the 3rd decanate, wow, you are almost pisces! I'm the 15th of February. As far as my experience with myself, in at nutshell I would probably say I am one of the most grounded and emotional aquarians you'll ever meet. I have a stellium in capricorn (uranus, neptune, venus, mars, saturn!) In fact, when it comes to my planets I only have 2 masculine placements, my mercury and sun. Everything else is either cancer, capricorn, or scorpio. Whew! Anyway, being an aqua sun and scorp moon is definitely not the easiest combination to be. I think like an aquarius, act more like a cancer, and I feel like a scorpio, ahhhh! Plus, I have this really serious streak that I think I get from all of my capricorn placements. Also, it's becoming more and more apparent to me that it's not so much that I struggle with my sun and moon combo, it's more about my mercury and moon. My mercury and moon are square and I find that for me it's more about the emotions and the intellect that's the problem. I can be really fickle and indecisive. I have a hard time with close relationships (especially those of the opposite sex.) I hope that answered your question. Feel free to ask anymore questions, I'd be glad to help, if I can!

Re: Hi
Sat, May 10, 2008 - 6:35 PM"you are in the 3rd decanate, wow, you are almost pisces"
I read somewhere ages ago, it seems, about the little effect there is of being born close to another sun sign, but it sounds like you are suggesting there might be. Is there? I thought what "counted" more was the placements of planets in the houses and the strength of these influences on each other, etc. Did I misunderstand?
Rachel, does grounded include the meaning of being practical, realistic and action oriented where your stellium combo is concerned? -
-
Re: Hi
Sat, May 10, 2008 - 8:38 PMI can say something here, if it counts…i dont belive belive in cusps.I was recently talking on the astrology tribe about my mars on the 29 degree. And this person said this ,he sounds smart, and i did research later, so i found out this .
In the real astrology there are no such things as cusps, if the planets are in the 0 or 29 degree it is critical degree, it is related to karma. And there is a explanation for planets on 27,28, degree that has nothing to do with cusps.
I know some people who are born ,for example 22.9 belive they share libra traits because of the cusp, but they maybe have mercury in the libra, and so on...
And mercury is no joke planet, it influence on the way you think, the way you comunicate….
I dont like the cusp theory it doesnt make much sence to me,
Lets take aries and taurus sign ,for example. Mars is the planet that rules aries, aries is the sign that streches from 0-29 degrees of the sign.
Taurus is the sign ruled by venus. So, even if the sun is at the 29 degree of aries it is still under the jurisdiction of aries mars ,it hasent cross in the taurus area,so it cant be under the venus or taurus influence. It is close, but i guess there is a reason why the person hasent been born in taurus. I know 29 degree has a strong karma relation, i can put here a little article ,material if anybody wants.
About the other influence on the sign, i do belive in decans, so with aqua 3 decan you have a Libra/VENUS planet influence as a subtone.
But i dont see as decan influence to make major difference to main sign influence

Re: Hi
Sat, May 10, 2008 - 8:55 PMAna,
That was quite a bit of info there. Thanks. I think it might benefit others to start a new thread on this matter. You up for it? And, yeah, I'd like to see the material you have on the matter.
I did read something of what you just mentioned re cusps. But now I'm confused about decans. Eeeee! Libra/Venus subtone? Please elaborate.
Thanks. -

Re: Hi
Sat, May 10, 2008 - 9:09 PMHere is what person from astrology tribe said to me regard the 29 degree
Astrologers tend to reduce things to Black and White too much.
There is nothing "magical" about the 29th degree.
It's just that each consecutive degree from 0 - 29 has an increasing level of Instant Karma for us.
This may increase exponentially with each degree so we may notice the effects more when we reach the highest degrees.
This means that as the degrees increase, we need to work more directly and spontaneously with the energy associated with the planet in the sign of question...or we have some kind of direct and instant "slap in the face" regarding it. The situation becomes critical.
For instance, my Saturn is at 29* 59' Taurus in my 6th House.
In matters related to working carefully, patiently and responsibly...and taking care of details and responsibilities associated with the 6th house...if I don't respond with urgency to these things I will suffer INSTANT KARMIC DISTRESS. I am 5x as likely to be chewed out for something that someone else also does wrong, believe it or not. I sometimes look on with disbelief as others get away with murder while I have to answer for the smallest mistake. Also, the same goes for paperwork and documents and other types of responsibilities. If I don't take care of things, I will have almost supernaturally impossible occurences come back to slap me in the face.
This should give an idea how the latest degrees work.
It's very good to keep a dossier of EVERYTHING related to your planet(s) of highest degree.
This will show your most critical areas of life.
It's ok to put everything else on the back-burner for a planet of highest degree.
I'd highly recommmend it!
Here is what he said about planets from 1-28 degree of the sign
It has to do with "critical" situations regarding the subjects of the sign in question.
That's why they call it a "critical degree" sometimes.
It means that if you don't act accordingly with the lessons of that sign, then you have an INSTANT KARMA relating to things that can go wrong if you DON'T exercise the wisdom which is required to hurdle to the challenges of that sign.
The Karma is instant...because it is "critical" at the Critical Degree.

Re: Hi
Sat, May 10, 2008 - 9:10 PMHere is the article
The Anaretic Degree, sometimes also called the Karmic Degree, is most often referred to as the 29th degree. To better understand its significance, let's break it down mathematically: The full wheel of the Zodiac contains 360 degrees and is composed of 12 houses (representing the 12 Signs). Thus, each house contains 30 degrees. Each degree within a house is labeled 0-29; therefore, the 29th degree is the last degree that a planet travels through in any house. If you have a planet positioned at the 29th degree in any of the houses of the Zodiac in your chart, you could say that planet is stationed at the Anaretic Degree.
Your personal astrological chart is a snapshot of the planets in the heavens. It captures the location of the planets within the houses at the exact time of your birth. Astrologers look to the characteristics of the planet at a Karmic Degree and respect its teachings. In Astrology, it is very significant if you have a planet at the Anaretic Degree. If a planet is in this position at the time of your birth, it means that you are very close to mastering an important lesson of the universe, but you have not quite achieved success. It is only when the lesson of that planet is mastered that you may move on and progress spiritually and universally. People with an Anaretic Degree have a lesson to learn.
Astrologers take the meaning of planets at an Anaretic Degree and encourage people to push themselves in the directions of the planet's characteristics. This planetary position signifies an urgent need to correctly utilize the energy of that planet. The lessons it indicates cannot be ignored if the individual wants to grow and transcend or achieve reincarnation and spiritual reinvention of the physical form.
For a more precise reading, the attributes of a planet at the Karmic Degree must be taken into consideration along with the Houses and the Signs that the planets occupy. -

Re: Hi
Sat, May 10, 2008 - 9:11 PMHere is the venus aqua decan
Born between February 10 and February 18 If the person is born between these days, the planetary ruler is Venus. The person born under this decan is romantic and attractive to the opposite sex. Rest and relaxation may not be there. The breath of vision marks you off from the rest of the humanity. Romantic inclinations may lead to misunderstanding.
Here is related to rising aqua sign but still , decan is a decan
THIRD DECAN of AQUARIUS Rising (20.00 - 30.00 degrees)
The sub-influuence of this Libra/VENUS decan can induce some quite interesting and exciting external characteristics for those with this decan rising. Libra--natural ruler of the seventh house of partnerships, marriage, close associations, contracts and agreements--makes you even more friend-and other-persons-oriented than the Aquarian influence considered alone. It's basically a truism that you tend to live your life mainly through your associations with others.
Since Aquarius is often more or less a "reformer" you may dedicate yourself to the task of improving others' lots in life through gently nudging them along the path to self-improvement. You help them to "reform" their negative thinking and nonproductive habits and practices into those that are more positive and productive.
However, you need to be careful that you don't allow the cardinal ("pushy") nature of Libra to cause you to shove too hard; otherwise, those you are attempting to help may accuse you of meddling in their lives and attempting to force your beliefs and contcepts on them. You can handle such matters well if you will allow the mutable energy of this third decan to let you know when it's time to modify, chang
