does anyone (hopefully!) feel that when you see your scorpio moon eyes (in a mirror or a picture), that it looks like the weight of the world is there or you hold too many secrets? Like there is something dark, intense, and so deep, that for anyone to look to long they would start to feel the weight of it? I know we all have this kind of moon like soul where it just makes us feel heavy inside almost as if were the ones that are well aware of what's going on in the universe. I've always felt this way, hopefully a few of you are scorpio moons feel the same too...

these astrological articles make scorpios special etc...eyes gleaming? like demons? i think not.

to be honest, i stare at my eyes and i don't see this "mysterious weightedness" that everyone is talking about. I have scorpio rising and moon, so whatever "secret" my eyes are hiding, it has to be pretty "intense", right? I don't see it.

I do like my eyes though... I think they're one of my best facial features... but I still don't see this "intensity" everyone talks about... but maybe that's because I have strong aquarian influences in my chart, and that confuses me.

If you compare scorpio moon eyes and cancer moon eyes (the extreme opposite I think) , you will see the intensity in scorpio moon eyes, more focused and "killing"

it looks more like confidence (scorpio) vs. lack of confidence (cancer) to me in the two examples you've provided.
Is the famous scorpio glare really just a visibility of confidence, you think?

hmm....ya, I think most scorpio mooners feel confident or superior because they know lots of things others don't.

****hmm....ya, I think most scorpio mooners feel confident or superior because they know lots of things others don't. ****

Because they sense a lot of things others don't, it's not necessarily something conscious/rational.

The cancerian type of sensitivity is relatively open and somehow 'at peace with itself'. Scorpio moons feel the need to go aganst their own sensitivity. Their eyes reflect focus on their inner world as well as the need to keep it under tight control. I'm not sure it's a 'confident' look (lunar plutonians are generally not 'the confident type'; they may actually be some of the most vulnerable and prone to fall into irrational fear). It's a focused look - on oneself and on others to the same extent. And a guarded look in the same time.

Intensity may be there, but it's a less prominent / a more hidden quality than in Scorpio sun or Scorpio rising people. It's more internalized.

I totally agree you put it beautifully. I have a friend who is a fellow Astrology enthusiast who described my eyes as being like mirrors, you can't look into them. I had never heard that or noticed it until it was pointed out. She is correct that is it exactly. She has a Cancer moon and it does seem to me that she is quite at peace on some level which I envy in a way, it would be so nice...

Hey Jin, where do you get the idea of lack of confidence in Cancer eyes? Where do you make that assumption? You just said you dont see the association of scorpio eyes, but you see that in cancer eyes??? Does not make sense at all, and no I am not attacking you but you are not making much sense to me.....explain

I am Cancer and I do not lack confidence and you can see that in my eyes. Never have I been told that I look like I lack confidence (Cancer Sun, and I know your talking about Cancer Moon.)

Cancer eyes usually have a watery, gloom, dreamy stare if anything.

I'm cancer and I can't say that I'm lacking in confidence, either. Quite the opposite, many people have said they are intimidated by my confidence.

            Mon, August 3, 2009 - 3:27 PM
Oh no, I'm not saying that cancer eyes lack confidence... however, from the pictures I clicked on (as with the link provided), the guy with the cancer moon "happened to look" like he was in some kind of trouble. Harry S Truman posing like he should in a picture, well, naturally, he would look confident.

Probably not the best comparison of photos, and I don't want to compare any eyes to anyone else, I'm just saying I don't see the "scorpionic glare" that everyone with scorpio rising/moon/etc. likes to claim, because I don't see it in myself.

Please don't take offense. I seriously just wanted people to show me what this "scorpio eyes" with depth and all that really meant. I still want someone to explain it to me, because I don't see it. The person who answered happened to provide pictures (not the best examples, I admit) of a person with cancer moon and a scorpio moon.

If you can provide better examples of a cancer moon influenced eyes (pictures are always worth a thousand words), I'd appreciate it a lot, but I'm not trying to pass judgment on anyone but my own (that I don't think we have killer look as scorpios).

Just realized I didn't fully answer your question.

I'm not really looking at the eyes; I'm looking more at posture and other facial expressions. So you can be guaranteed I still don't know what I'm talking about in terms of the glare or whatever we "scorpio moon eyes" supposedly have.

A president's portrait, properly dressed with a small smile is going to look confident to me compared with a guy's screen capture (it looks like), where the man's talking but seems like he's either arguing about something or has the droopy mouth with hunched back is going to look less confident to me.

That's where I got it, and that's why I asked if the difference between cancer eyes and scorpio eyes were confidence... I didn't really just stare at the eyes for 5 minutes; I looked at everything else too because I didn't see it in the eyes alone.

Fair enough, and I appreciate your response. I understand and if I had examples of the eyes I would show it to you but I dont right now. Anyways Jin, its cool.

I've always heard that Scorpio moons are the zodiac equivalent of lie detectors, so I do feel that we hone in on much more visually than most moon signs. I think we do it best by what we are able to see, rather than intuition. Sometimes I actually feel like I can see right through people's lies in the literal sense.

I think it's more about intensity and a certain sharpness to our eyes. I don't personally think that mine carry the weight of the world, nor are they dark... but intense, yes.

I think i might be one of the scorpio people with an intense gaze . More often than I want , a lot of people shy away, and it´s not my imagination.

I often think that my eyes tell the most about me. When i feel bad, it really shows. When i feel happy - same there.. When i´m interested in something nothing could keep me from fully experience it , including trying to get lost in another pair of eyes.

People say that My eyes are intense and that I can look very psychotic when I am upset or mad. My ex also told me that I can look very tender and dissarming like a little boy. I pesonally dont see any of it when I look at myself in the mirror. When I am at parties with tons of hot girls around, I am told that I have a look in my eyes that have bad intentions behind them that some find a bit charming.

I wish I were more aware of my outward appearance in the eyes so that I can better control it.

I have heard about this intensity in my eyes also. I am not surprised...It is because I look people in the eye. I try to see who they really are not just apperances. I don't think it is a coincidence that the only makeup I really wear is eye make up either. I love how the different color shadows or how different I can make my eyes look just by making the make up different. Although a majority of the time I don't wear any make up at all.

              my eyes are super.

i got the thickest and longest boy eyelashes most people ive known have seen. and i can gaze in a particular way id make a burglar run away in fear. the rest of the time my eyes probably just look bored..... but theyre still amazing.

I also have extremely long eyelashes, but so does my brother, and he's not a scorp moon. My guess is that one is hereditary, at least for me.

i guess to just what extent long eyelashes are long makes a difference. and how curvy (? dont know the right term) they are. i tell you, my eyelashes are just so special no product in the market can produce the slighest resemblance of them in the user (and even if they did, mine are still better cause theyre matural).

sorry maybelline and direct competitors, you suck.

I'm the exact opposite; I tend to enjoy playing down my eye make up because even the slightest "overdo" makes my face out of balance, and people tell me I look like I could kill someone with my glare.

          I rarely do much color, and just stick to plain mascara... usually that's enough; otherwise, I risk making my eyes float over my face... at least according to my friends... ^^;;;

Youre kinda contradictory in your posts here Hikaruchin. In your previous posts you said you dont understand this about scorpio eyes: “I have scorpio rising and moon, so whatever "secret" my eyes are hiding, it has to be pretty "intense", right? I don't see it.”
“So you can be guaranteed I still don't know what I'm talking about in terms of the glare or whatever we "scorpio moon eyes" supposedly have.” ..yada,yada.
And now you say you have been told you have killer look so you are aware of intesity of your stare..your last post shows that on some level you are aware of it( even if you dont see it yourself).
So why were you playing cofused before. its not really my business, it just looks funny

i'm not being contradictory; i still don't see the "infamous scorpio glare" at all.

              when i was talking about the whole eye make up, i'm going by what my friends and family tell me in terms of the glare; they apparently see the glare and tell me. and they tell me when they think i'm wearing too much make-up... so much that i'm sort of stuck to mascara or else someone will tell me i look weird. ^^;;;

it took me the longest time to figure out "what was overdoing" and "what was not", because whatever I thought was fine, was not by my friends' standards; they told me i needed to tone it down if i wanted to go out during daytime.

i know it sounds contradictory now, but i really didn't mean it like that. :)

I have a strong Scorpion influence on my chart, & I have been told one too many times by everyone that there is something about my eyes & the way I look @ people but never believed it myself.
    Who knows.

I see something when I look @ myself in the mirror but I don't think it's in my eyes.

I know what you mean. My eyes is so strong and full of mysteries. When i was little i get so many people saying my eyes is very strong and scary and they would ask me does i belong to the scorpio family. Now i can give anyone that stare and i feel like i gain power cause people always get scared and look away or just shiver. As i look in the mirror i see my eyes are multi color; brown, black, and a vivid gold with dignity in it.

You see what you want to see.

When I look into anyone's eyes whether they have a Scorpio Moon or Gemini Moon or Taurus Moon.. I always see something different, beautiful. It is a very human desire to want to be special and have something that makes you different.

Every one is unique in their own way but do no forget that we are all connected.

Some energy might draw you more so than others.
