Christina, I can relate to that. I frequently do that. I always feel that I can accept people for who they are if I can understand where they are coming from, so I'll put myself in their place to gain new insight. It works too, whether or not I've been there myself.

well, many people are not easy to guess but the one's i do try to guess are usually right. if i know the year of birth of a person it can be easier, and fun if you try to guess the birthday. i've had a couple of successes where i've basically got the birthday right.

I have known some placid arieses, but their energy seems diluted compared to that of true arieses, whatever that means...you know the loud ones, slightly over confident bordering on arroagnce centre of attention types, Im philosophising the scorpio moon in aries would make some someone erupt for the slightest provocation. lol

i don't know...i'm comparing myself to family members but...usually when they read people, they're way off. i tend to get into little tiffs with them about their perceptions and then i end up being right in the end. they don't disagree was much with my insights anymore. it's the same with some of my other friends...they preceive a person differently than i do...and we actually sat a new acquaintance down and went straight into the topic (mainly from my doing...aries in venus makes me a little too social at weird times :P) and i stated what i thought about her, and my friend stated what she thought about her....i ended up being right more often than her. it's happened with other friends too...when we meet new people and somehow they come up in a later conversation and we give our opinions on them...mine turns out to be more true than the others. (save for one or two other friends who are also very receptive.)

but of course...i'm not ALWAYS right...sometimes a friend might pick up on a personality trait that i didn't catch. or they were completely right about the person as a whole than i was....all i'm saying is more often than not, a few friends from my group and i are usually better at reading people than others are.

i don't know if you're like us...probably not, u seem like a sane person :P...but try it sometimes with ur friends. sit down and seriously discuss other people you've met with your friends. not in the mean way just...as a matter-of-factly...kinda...way. yeah....but you can only find proof if you actually meet those people u've discussed again...and maybe on a regular basis. don't need to become close, just talk once in a while and come in contact with briefly ever so often. see if the perceptions were right or wrong.

sorry to disagree. now, if you had argued that being good at reading people doesn't really depend on the stars...I wouldn't have anything to say against that. =D for me, astrology's just for fun. (but that just might be the sceptical scorpio in me! :P ahem...anyway....)

We are born to get into psychology, metaphysics, even mythology ( I agree on it ). Our determination is our key to success but what I say about our assumptions being wrong is maybe truth. Our feelings and emotions make us perceive somebody in a wrong way , for that reason is important to dig into a person and then have a profound understanding about his or her motives. It is difficult because even the nicest person in this world has something to hide in his/her personality. Nobody is perfect, including us. I love psychology, sociology, the occult however I am very vulnerable about what I feel. I try not to be controlled by my emotions, it could kill me... some scorpio moon have emotional problem such as anxiety or depression or paranoia and these emotional issues do not let us to have a clear view about our surrounding, thats why I say that we are not so good on reading people.
