The Female Scorpio Moon

How independent and self sufficient are you?
Does the supposed Scorpio Moon drive for "control" manifest as self control
and self reliance? Or the need to control others, circumstances and "the relationship".

How about emotionality in comparison to the other signs?

What do you seek - actually, not just platitudes - in a relationship, in the workplace, wherever.

A few quotes to provoke or to inspire:

"How wrong it is for a woman to expect the man to build the world she wants,
rather than to create it herself. "

"I, with a deeper instinct, choose a man who compels my strength, who makes enormous demands on me,
who does not doubt my courage or my toughness, who does not believe me naive or innocent,
who has the courage to treat me like a woman."
(Anais Nin)

Or, from an unusual source, the other side -

"Whenever women have insisted on absolute equality with men, they have invariably wound up with the dirty end of the stick.
What they are and what they can do makes them superior to men, and their proper tactic is to demand special privileges, all the traffic will bear. They should never settle merely for equality. For women, "equality" is a disaster."

Yep, but there is also alot more in my chart pointing to this, so I can't give all the credit to my moon :)
I hate relying on others. I'd rather screw something up myself then have someone else screw it up. Most people would probably say hey, they its not your fault. But I'd like to know that I tried.

For a negative perspective, check out this thread in an Astrology forum:

"Stay away from moon in scorpio women. They are batshit insane and every single one that I have ever come into contact with has an aversion to growing. Every. Single. One. Batshit." "Heed my words, and if you ever do a composite or synastry with a female moon in scorpio RUN! They don't/won't learn. They don't/won't grow. They think the world owes them and they will take take take all they can! And then they will spit you out like you are yesterdays trash. "

      Talk about an attitude !

lol someone has probably got some women issue aspects in their chart.
Funny Scorpio is known for death and rebirth, which includes growing. Of course everyone is different. Yeah its a fixed sign and stubborn but there isn't astrological info to back up this crap.

How independent and self sufficient are you?

    - I think I´m pretty selfsufficient. I don´t really ask anyone for help ever.

Does the supposed Scorpio Moon drive for "control" manifest as self control
and self reliance? Or the need to control others, circumstances and "the relationship".

    - Moreso the first, in my case. I don´t want to control anyone or anything, but I also am very concerned with not being controlled myself. I guess you could say that I belive in freedom for evryone/everything.

How about emotionality in comparison to the other signs?

    - I don´t know how other people feel, I´m sure they are as emotional as me, most anyway, but they seem to be more dynamic in the way the feel things, sometimes they´re happy, then all of a sudden they´re sad, they scream, cry, laugh. I´m more even in my temperament, it´s probably very boring (and confusing) to others thatI never show sign of strong emotions. But I do feel very intensly at all moments, it´s just that I feel happy, sad and so on, all at the same time. I also never express anger. I´m very non-verbal in my emotional expression.
What do you seek - actually, not just platitudes - in a relationship, in the workplace, wherever.

A few quotes to provoke or to inspire:

"How wrong it is for a woman to expect the man to build the world she wants,
rather than to create it herself. "

    - lol, no I don´t agree.,

"I, with a deeper instinct, choose a man who compels my strength, who makes enormous demands on me,
who does not doubt my courage or my toughness, who does not believe me naive or innocent,
who has the courage to treat me like a woman."
    (Anais Nin)

    - Nice quote, I don´t feel this way though. I would hope my man see me as everything, both naive and innocent and tough, courageous and so on. Mostly I just want to feel a connection to someone, how they see me is really no concern of mine, as long as they like what they see. :)

    - I will be honest, I don´t agree with quotes like these, I think they are sexist. I don´t belive in deviding people based on gender. That´s why I don´t agree with feministic theories. I would never call myself a feminist sense I belive their theories don´t make any sense. People are individuals, all unique an uncomparable to eachother. I do not think equality is possible nor desirable, it´s a false creation based on rigid theories, and not appliable to humans. I think there is some despise for men, and humanity in general, hiding in that quote and tha´s why I don´t consider it worthy of support.

I forgot to answer this one:

What do you seek - actually, not just platitudes - in a relationship, in the workplace, wherever

      - Love, connection to someone. Freedom, understanding and appreciation for my uniqueness as a humanbeing. The same thing all of us want, I think.

As far as is possible (because in this society isn't 100% poss) I am self sufficient. I like to do things myself, ask for help only if I need it and feel a bit demeaned in needing it.
The drive for control needs to be watched. It manifests as self control, because I've not been involved in relationships for long time, it was destructive to be there trying to control the other person. I completely tried to control the relationships, the other person if I could, if I couldn't, then the relationship.
Self control is incredible, it's satisfying and much better for others! And I feel better too.

What do seek? At work, be left alone to do my job. An interesting job, though I haven't got one. Personal life..that's my business!

    Interesting quotes.

I think I can get around on my own fine, I like being alone a lot so i'm pretty able to take care of myself and can be more or less self reliant when need be. The "control" is either in the bed room or "OMG PLEASE PICK UP YOUR DIRTY DISHES!", I hate mess.

I am a cancer sun so i'm watery and heavily emotional, I just don't let it out much. An ex of mine said I build walls and hide behind them until everything pressurizes and I blow up. Go figure.

What do I seek? affection, comfort, alone time, good food, fun!

@ Snake, I'm like that too, blow up till I can't hold it in anymore. But I'm an Aries Sun w/ a Pisces Rising. I think just having a Scorpio Moon in general makes us very private people.
