i have this ... conjunct aspect... and it seems i scare people off easily.
my sun, venus and mercury are conjunct in aquarius, so it hurts my ego that i have to constantly approach people...
am i the only scorpio moon that seems to scare people off, or are there fellow scorpio moons who also scare people off?
i really want to know what it means to have them conjunct like this (my moon's also in the 12th house...)...
does anyone else have this aspect?

i'm a 12th house scorpio moon also, sun and mercury in aquarius, but not conjunct. i probably do scare people off, but no one's ever told me i have, so i don't know if i've done so. last year, someone described me as being intense to my face. i think it slipped out, not meant for my ears. that got me thinking. i've never heard myself be described as such. was it because i was keen on doing a good job and was very focused on learning all i could about my work? or was it something else? when i asked her, she backtracked and said i was dedicated. there was more she wasn't saying; i left it at that. -

and for one thing... i always have to make the effort to get to know people, it's never the other way around.
it's like i have a human repellent on or something (which isn't bad when i have to walk late at night or whatnot) on, i can feel that they're not comfortable around me, and there's really not much i can do... you know?

Thu, May 8, 2008 - 11:32 PMAbout scaring people off, i think i dont scare people off on the daily basis. I dont look frightning or cold all the time, people usually perceive me as weird or nice,depends on the audience.
I have been told i look scary when im uprest, ar angry. My sistet told i am not aware how furious i look at that time,and how she is going to take picture of ,so she can scare me with me.
I do notice when im angry that people who are close to my look at me,little scared, frozen, they avoid arguing with me at that point.
But sometimes i like to scare people off just for fun,shock them, but i do this to people who pretend they are so model citizens, and pretend like they are goody,goody, and are qucik to judge anyone who doesnt fit in their people profile -

My sister stayed couse she knows me and she knows how to calm me down.
But sometimes she leaves the room to ,when im in „the mood“, couse she say im freezing the blood in her veins.
But those are mostly extreme moments in extreme situations,normaly im not like that -

I once told him that I felt fire burning in my body and my blood boiling when I am angry.

When i fight with my sister i do speak loudly, she also, aries moon ,so were both sreaming at some point. She says that is my look in the eyes that is scary, sreaming she can handle. But also when im angry i can be very cold, sarcastic, distant so she screams couse she cant reach to me i guess. I hope our fighting days are over.
That mean laughter of your friend does sounds spooky.

Sometimes, I catch myself in the mirror and what I see freaks me out, too. I look downright ugly, and that's just when I'm thinking, so I can only imagine how much worse I must look when I'm angry. Poor world. I'll see about practicing to be a blank canvas in spite of passionate emotions lurking in the background. -

Fri, May 9, 2008 - 1:46 PMI know what you mean by "scaring people off". I think though that you should check out what kind of aspects are on your ascendant for that, as your ascendant are what others first see and experience.
My Pisces ascendant is aspected by Pluto and Uranus and Saturn. So I'm "weird" and "scary" to some.
Many women are intimidated by me. I have no idea why! I'm friendly once you get to know me, and Iove talking to people and enjoy meeting new and interesting people. Unfortunately, I also attract strange and sometimes dangerous people and situations.
I have my moon in scorpio 8th house, conjunct pluto in scorpio 8th house -

I kinda wanna learn to put on those scary eyes because I really wanna scare some people away. My pisces sun usually makes me look friendly and nice, and people would step over me; when that happens, my scorpio ascendant would surface to shock them. But I kinda prefer to scare them off in the beggining.
My scorpio moon friend's laughter is spooky because it was out of psychopathic joy.

I think how I do the eyes is look straight at someone, remain quiet, and focus on them until they react. They get the energy. If I want to repel, I pull up a "negative" feeling like annoyance or anger and project through my face, body language and eyes. If I want to attract, I pull up a "positive" feeling like joy and acceptance and radiate it.
I can also have a really scary laugh. It's fun to do sometimes, especially coming from being a nex-doormat person myself. -

The key is not to alowed such people to step over you, built self confidence.
Dont go building the anger inside just so it would be visible in your eyes.You will poison you self wtih the anger,and those people.....are they worth it? Im guessing not

but my aquarius sun doesn't mind meeting people and not being so "intimidating", i prefer not being intimidating (venus in aquarius effect?), so it really produces conflict for me...

personally, everyone loved my eyes and always commented on how nice they looked, so i never was too conscious of it, and i didn't realize they could be intense until i learned about astrology... (i've learned to utilize the whole manipuation thing a bit... but i can't do it easily like some other people though)
but, wouldn't you rather show the world how colorful your canvas can be?
Van Gogh's paintings weren't acknowledged as majestic until his death, but he didn't stop painting (well, until he died anyways)... and now, they're treasures!
I think showing your emotions (well, at least a bit) would help you become the work of art that you were meant to be rather than a rasa blanca; face it; unless your moon's in 12th, scorpio moon will manage to seep out somehow; wouldn't you rather add the brushwork so you can make it look like the way you want it to be? haha... :) and the thing is, i think people are scared of me when i am a blank canvas rather than colored, because i may seem almost robotic, lacking emotions and completely intellect-addicted......

Funny you should mention Van Gogh. I love that in spite of his pain, he kept producing what he had in him. I feel so sad and mournful when I think of what I've read about him.

Incidentally, I do have a 12th house Scorpio moon, Neptune and Jupiter. I'm not sure how it's supposed to affect me, but I feel easily overwhelmed by the energies around me, and must hide often to be sane. The part of me that is real is what I express in my hiding. I don't know how, or I am very afraid, to express the gentle side of me. I love being connected to Spirit. Often when I am centred, I feel a strong sense of peace and exuberance, and my whole being feels as if it could fly and sprinkled golden joy dust around the world, but, like a light that is about to die, the flare of energy bursts and all is gone.

Sat, May 10, 2008 - 10:57 AMyeah, i really admire the pisces look, you look so relaxed, out of this world, that i'd think it'd frustrate the people you didn't like because you'd look like you didn't care... rather than giving them attention, sometimes, complete ignorance does the trick better, letting them know you don't give a $hit about them... (especially if they have planets in leo somewhere in their chart... ha ha)...
for me, it's either scorpio's "make me mad and i'll murder you, and make sure no one finds where your corpse is" which sometimes doesn't work... (especially with leos... GRRRR)
or...
aquarius' "i seriously am not here right now... ring me up in 30 minutes, and if i'm still not here, either i'm visiting a galaxy next door, or you're nonexistant" (which definitely seemed to work with leos... lol).
fear or ignorance... either should work fine... it's just that with scorpio fear, word somehow spreads, and people avoid me like the plague... T_T

-Strangers or those that I do not know well, I am fine with as it keeps them away from me and they leave me the fuck alone.
-coworkers, ummm, they tend to leave me out of their reindeer games so if I am feeling particularily sociable that day, it hurts, if not then its for the best.
-Friends and lovers. They tend to hold back from telling me the truth on happenings because they are afraid of my reaction. That really hurts. I never want someone close to me to be afraid of me, yes I have a temper which I have worked on and am constantly continuely trying to temper my temper. I have never physically hurt anyone, so I am not so sure what exactly they are afraid I will do. I have asked them and they admit they don't know what it is. The only thing they know is my eyes turn black and I get a look on my face.
-The three who I would die for are not intimidated by me. They know me and more importantly UNDERSTAND me. -

I hear what you are saying, Savannah, about feeling hurt that someone close to you doesn't share for fear of your reaction. It makes me feel rejected and sad, and makes me wonder if I'm some kind of a monster. I have quite a temper, and I've been afraid of it most of my life. I think my next project will be to learn to develop a healthy way to work with anger/sense of injustices without guilt or fear or shame.

Personally, i find it annoying. I've no intentions of scaring people off. I can relate to how it sometimes can make social interaction odd? is that the right word for this? well social interaction for me, does not always go well... They tell me that I always look pissed off and i'm hard to approach.
If i'm feeling neutral or thinking deeply I look very serious and angry. why do i have this face =(
